Dr. Manrakhan Lal Sahu Shaskiya Mahavidyalaya, Jamul (Bhilai) was established in 2018 with a view to provide higher education to the student of rural area. The college is affiliated to “Hemchand Yadav university, Durg. It is a co-educational institute and offers undergraduate program in the field of science, arts and commerce

 The duration of all programs are three years. Eligibility for entrance is 10+2 in relevant subject or equivalent. Application mode is online through Hemchand Yadav University Durg and selection criteria is merit based.

Facilities for the students of college includes library, sports, laboratory, playground, cycle stand, Wi-fi campus, NSS wing. The students are also granted scholarships on the basis of financial situation and reservation. some of the scholarships are-

1.       Post matric scholarship

2.       National scholarship: - Minority scholarship and B.P.L scholarship

The college enjoys the privilege of having 100% faculty with Ph.D. as higher qualification –

The college has also been making various efforts and initiation to integrate cross cutting issues like gender, human right, environmental education, awareness program through various cells and committees.

The present building accommodates principal office, staff room, college office, class rooms, science laboratories, library, spacious ground.
